The Hydroponic Hobbyist
Hydro Harry here and if you have ever wanted to experiment with Hydroponics and grow your own herbs and greens by Hydroponics then you have found what you have been looking for.
There are many different methods of growing vegetables without soil that exist, some simple, some a little more complicated and others very complicated. The “Float” system, (sometimes called “Deep Water Culture”) is perhaps the oldest and is also one of the simplest to start with. It is simple to construct, inexpensive, requires little maintenance and is very productive.
We have been “tinkering” and experimenting with Hydroponics for many, many years and successfully have grown everything from greens, herbs, lettuce, oats, tomatoes, peppers and more. When you look at a Hydroponics plant, and a plant that came from the soil, you can immediately tell the difference!! They look so much brighter, bigger and best of all grow at a much faster rate!!
